Approximately 2% of births in the US results from IVF. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates that the costs for a single cycle of IVF ranges from $15,000 to $20,000, and can exceed $30,000. More than one cycle is often necessary to get pregnant.

It’s incredible that science has made different kinds of families possible. At the same time however, the process is expensive, and can be unreliable.

Through my personal experiences and those of loved ones—who’ve had mixed results—I’ve seen how IVF can be a liberating process, or a deeply frustrating one. Directing ‘Come’ will allow me to share this duality with others in a way that is authentic, entertaining, and empowering.
